Politinis Vinco Krėvės gyvenimo kontekstas ir Alberto Zalatoriaus interpretacija

LTDaugiausia prieštaringų diskusijų kelia Vinco Mickevičiaus-Krėvės politinės ambicijos ir veikla 1939-1940 metais, lemtingais Lietuvos nepriklausomybei. Iš šiam laikotarpiui skirtų studijų išsiskiria istoriko Mindaugo Tamošaičio darbai, kuriuose mokslininkas mato V. Krėvę kaip nepriklausomybės duobkasj. Šiai pozicijai prieštarauja literatūrologo Alberto Zalatoriaus darbuose besiveriantis bandymas šia svarbia, bet epizodinę V. Krėvės politinę veiklą interpretuoti visame jo asmenybės kontekste, suvokti tikrąsias rašytojo aspiracijas, paskatinusias jį įsivelti į labai komplikuotą anuometinę politinę Lietuvos situaciją. Straipsnio autorė taip pat bando ieškoti motyvacijos politiniams V. Krėvės pasirinkimams ir apsisprendimams išeidama iš jo asmenybės visumos. ENThe work and political ambitions of Vincas Mickevičius-Krėvė during the years 1939-1940, which were fatal to the independence of Lithuania, cause biggest controversial debates. The works of the historian Mindaugas Tamošaitis stand out from all of the studies on the following period. The scientist sees Vincas Krėvė as the gravedigger of independence. Literary scholar Albertas Zalatorius contradicts the latter position. The works of Albertas Zalatorius oppose this interpretation and attempt to interpret important, though episodic political activities of Vincas Krėvė within the context of his personality and to realize the real aspirations of the writer that had encouraged him to get involved in a very complicated political situation of Lithuania in those days. Moreover, leaving out the personality of the writer, the author of the article strives to find motivation, which had determined political choices and decisions of Vincas Krėvė. [From the publication]
