Trilypė Alberto Zalatoriaus lituanistikos vizija

LTStraipsnyje aptariama literatūros tyrėjo ir kritiko Alberto Zalatoriaus (1932-1999) lituanistinė veikla. Joje skinama trejetas krypčių: kūrybinė akademinė, tautinė ir globali (pasaulinė). Kūrybinė akademinė veikla interpretuojama kaip literatūrinių gebėjimų transformavimasis iš grožinės literatūros bandymų į profesionalų literatūros tyrinėtojo ir kritiko darbą. Kurį laiką puoselėta aktorystė (mėgėjiškuose teatruose), nuolatinis dėmesys retorikai, savaimingas estetinis literatūros kūrinio išgyvenimas praplečia šio autoriaus prigimtinių gebėjimų vaizdą. Profesinėje literatūrologo ir kritiko kūryboje A. Zalatoriui buvo svarbūs jam pačiam būdingi dalykai: autoriaus talentas, teksto autentiškumas ir originalumas. Tautinė lituanistinė veikla radosi savaime: A. Zalatorius analizavo lietuvių novelę, parašė apie ją porą monografijų, rūpinosi nacionalinės novelės pristatymu Lietuvos ir užsienio skaitytojams. Lietuvių literatūros procesą jis suvokė kaip kūrybinį tapsmą, kuriame tautos savastis randasi ar ieško savo raiškos per nacionalinę kalbą. Lituanisto darbą Lietuvoje A. Zalatorius siejo su jo refleksijomis ir tąsa užsienyje. Rūpindamasis kūrybiniu V. Krėvės palikimu, rašydamas apie šį literatūros klasiką monografiją, literatūrologas palietė ne vieną tarptautini lituanistikos aspektą. Globalios lituanistinės A. Zalatoriaus vizijos ryškiausias rezultatas - jo inicijuota kartu su prof. V. Kelertiene, prof. J. Girdzijausku ir kitais bendraminčiais 1994 m. Vilniuje įsteigta Pasaulio lituanistų bendrija. Jai A. ENThe article analyses Albertas Zalatorius' (1932-1999), a literary researcher and critic, work in the field of Lithuanian studies. His work is divided into three trends: creative academic, national and global (worldwide). Creative academic work is interpreted as the transformation of literary abilities from fiction experimentations to the work of a professional literary researcher and critic. Acting that was cherished for some time (in amateur theatres), constant attention to rhetoric, spontaneous aesthetic empathizing with a literary work - all these features broaden the view of the author's natural abilities. In his professional work as a literary researcher and critic, A. Zalatorius gave his outmost attention to following aspects: the author's talent as well as authenticity and originality of the text. National work of Lithuanian studies appeared by itself: A. Zalatorius analysed the concept of the Lithuanian short story, wrote a couple of monographs about this subject, and concentrated on introducing the short story to the Lithuanian and foreign readers. He saw the process of Lithuanian literature as a creative materialisation in which the national identity comes out of or looks for its expression through a national language. A. Zalatorius' work in the field of Lithuanian studies done in Lithuania was connected with further reflection and continuing work abroad. While taking care of V. Krėvės creative heritage and writing a monograph about this literary classic, the literary researcher touched upon quite a number of national aspects within the field of Lithuanian studies. The most prominent result of A. Zalatorius' global vision in Lithuanian studies is International Association for Scholars in Lithuanian Studies, which was established in Vilnius in 1994. It was initiated by A. Zalatorius, together with the professors V. Kelertienė, Girdzijauskas and other associates. A. Zalatorius was the head of the association. [From the public
