Vydūnas: tarp tautiškumo ir globalumo

ENVydūnas belongs to those Lithuanian thinkers who started to explain globalization. Because of the influence of Hindu Vedanta, his philosophy is global in its essence. According to it everything in the world is tire manifestation of cosmic powers. All particular processes are tire manifestations of one universal process of creation. That process is teleological. It seeks to reduce the diversity of the world back to the spiritual unity. All the trials which befall humankind are conditioned by cosmic powers. In the majority of cases these trials are provoked by the destructive activity of humankind. On the background of cosmic process, the life and history of a nation should be considered. Every nation has its own destination and task in tire process of universal creation.
