Vilnius pedagoginis universitetas XXI a. švietimo iššūkių kontekste

LTStraipsnio tema – šiuolaikiniame pasaulyje vykstantys ir švietimo raidą lemiantys globalūs pokyčiai. Įvadinėje straipsnio dalyje nurobomos ir trumpai apžvelgiamos labiausiai aukštojo mokslo sistemoje pasitaikančios tendencijos: masifikacija, diversifikacija, internacionalizacija, marketizacija ir standartizacija. Toliau aptariamas šių tendencijų poveikis Lietuvos aukštojo mokslo institucijoms, pasitelkiant konkrečios aukštojo mokslo įstaigos – Vilniaus pedagoginio universiteto pavyzdį. Remiantis aukščiau minėtų tendencijų raiškos būdų analize, daroma bendro pobūdžio išvada, kad globalios tendencijos Vilniaus pedagoginiam universitetui labiau palankios, negu nepalankios. ENThe topic of the article is global changes that are taking place in the modern world and which determined the development of education. Tendencies that prevail most often in the system of higher education are specified and reviewed in brief in the introductory part: massification, diversification, internationalisation, marketisation and standardisation. Further on the impact of these tendencies on the institutions of higher education of Lithuania is discussed using the example of specific higher educational institution – Vilnius Pedagogical University. On the basis of the analysis of ways of manifestation of the above-mentioned tendencies a general conclusion is drawn that global tendencies are more favourable than unfavourable to Vilnius Pedagogical University.
