ENThe article analyses possibilities of psycho – diagnostical methods in accordance with the kinds of testing forms. Different variants of presenting and choosing test answers are analyzed. The aspects of employing computers in diagnostics and positive results of such employment are evaluated. Certain subjective factors of organizing the process of testing are surveyed. Modern computer technologies reveal new possibilities for organizing the testing process, i. e. multimedia, the time factor and interactive reaction to the respondent’s actions. Tests, which react to the respondent’s actions dynamically, create conditions to achieve results which were hard to achieve when usual tests were used. Considering these factors, types of intellectual systems and possibilities of their application are defined. Positive and negative sides of application of information technologies are singled out.
