Summary / Abstract:

ENThe article attempts revealing the importance of emigration creation of the most critical for Lithuania post-war period of the XX c. This is a situation, when there happened the conversion of the values and archetypes. The affected archetypes, permanent mediators of the Lithuanian poetry are: mother country, undermined by the loss, prayer as plainsong, earth turns to bloody ground, eternal returning home closes as the hopeless circle, and call from the depths is left as the only assumption for life and resurrection. Catastrophic modernism of the emigrants, filled with these apocalyptic meanings, had two trends of poetry: traditional Christian, Catholic patriotic song of B. Brazdžionis and liberal modern one of A. Mackus, engaged with its paradigm of loss.
