ENIn this paper is discussed methodological question: what could be an object of comparative humanitarian and social research. At the moment the prevailing approach is that only symbolic system could be the object of humanitarian and social research. Author is trying to defend the approach that object of comparative sociological research (especially - longitudinal studies) could be value orientations.
