Summary / Abstract:

ENThe main object of the research of the article is the Book of Marriage Metrics of the Rome Catholic Church in Liškiava in 1922 - 1939. The aim is to analyse and present the generalities of the parochial Catholic marital behaviours and to illustrate them by the characteristic marriage records. Chronological boundaries include the period of 1922 – 1939 when the first and last records were made.
