ENThe self-assessment method is based on opinion of employees. It is successfully used for an organization’s performance evaluation. Self-assessment is a decision of top managers that requires awareness. An organization can select the model, the criteria and adapt or create the questions for assessment according to the needs. Management should determine the scope of assessment and decide who will be the assessors. It should foresee the assessment results’ realization. Some Lithuanian organization began to use the selfassessment method, but they don’t adopt valuable practice of the Western organizations.
