LTPeriodika - svarbus gyvenimo palydovas, dar didesnės reikšmės turėjęs XX amžiaus viduryje (spauda buvo pagrindinis žinių šaltinis, nes turėti radijo aparatą vis dar buvo prabangus dalykas), kai be įprastų funkcijų: informavimo, žinių teikimo ir 1.1, totalitarinių režimų aktyviai buvo naudojama ir kaip propagandos, ir kaip indoktrinacijos įrankis, o kalbant apie rūpimą nacių okupacijos periodą, pirmiausia turint omenyje lietuvių ir žydų santykius, ir kaip atskirt} bei neapykantą kurstanti priemonė. Įvairūs žydų vaizdiniai ir stereotipai lietuvių periodikoje nacių okupacijos laikotarpiu jau yra analizuoti ir pakankamai aiškūs. Kita vertus, vis dar diskutuojama dėl laikraščių priklausomybės - kas juos leido, ypač pirmuosius numerius (pirmiausia Kaune leisto Į Laisvę pirmas numeris pasirodė 1941 m. birželio 24 dieną), kiek periodikos turinys buvo lemtas nacių ir jų cenzūruojamas, o kiek tai buvo savarankiškos autorių mintys. Šiame straipsnyje bus atskleidžiamos kelios plotmės - analizuojant spaudos klausimą taip pat bus paliesti dviejų lietuviškų organizacijų: Lietuvių aktyvistų fronto (LAF) ir Lietuvių nacionalistų partijos (LNP) santykiai. Abi organizacijos suprato ne tikspaudos reikšmę, bet ir jos galią. Ypač tai akivaizdu iš LNP pozicijų, kurias labai gerai atskleidžia šios partijos sekretorius Zenonas Blynas.1 Todėl koncentruojantis į spaudos leidimo ir santykių tarp LAF ir LNP klausimus bus liečiamas ir „žydų klausimas“ siekiant atskleisti jo vietą ir svarbą iš pirmo žvilgsnio su Holokaustu ir neapykantos žydams skatinimu nieko bendro neturinčioje sferoje [p. 46].

ENPeriodicals have played an important role in our lives; moreover, they were even more significant in the middle of the 20th century (the press was the main source of information due to the fact that a radio set was still a sufficiently luxurious item) as they were used as a propaganda and indoctrination tool by the totalitarian regimes in addition to the usual functions to inform, provide the news, etc.; during the period of the Nazi occupation focused on in the present investigation, they were also employed as a tool to instigate exclusion and hatred, first having in mind the relations between the Lithuanians and the Jews. Various images and stereotypes used in Lithuanian periodicals have already been analysed and are sufficiently transparent. On the other hand, the ownership of the newspapers is still being discussed, i.e. who published them, especially the first issues (the first issue of the newspaper Į Laisvę (To Freedom), which was first published in Kaunas, appeared on June 24, 1941), and to what extent the content was influenced by the Nazis and censored or expressed independent authors’ ideas. The present article discusses several issues: analyzing the press, the relations between two Lithuanian organizations, i.e. the Lithuanian Activists’ Front (LAF) and the Lithuanian Nationalists Party (LNP) are discussed. Both organizations perceived not only the importance of the press but also its power, which was especially apparent from the LNP perspective revealed by Zenonas Blynas, the secretary of the party.1 Thus, in addition to the questions of the press and the relations between the LAF and the LNP, the “question of the Jews” is also touched upon, revealing its position and importance in the domain which is seemingly not related to the Holocaust and the promotion of hatred towards the Jews at the first sight.
