Summary / Abstract:

ENAlthough much has been said on the Dresden Dziady by Adam Mickiewicz, a lot of points still remain to be explained. One of the keys to the world of the drama has been provided by the studies on its genesis. Of interest to me is a certain surprising detail in one of the hand-written versions of the scene entitled Senator’s Dream. This strange detail helps to explain what happens or might have happened to a character of the Dresden Dziady during sleep. It also brings us to a reconsideration of Mickiewicz’s demonology.
