Dailės kritika tarp vizualėjančio pasaulio ir kontekstualėjančios dailės

LTTačiau kritikuojantysis visada yra priklausomas nuo kritikuojamojo: jei nebūtų kabiko, nebūtų ir žiūriko. Taigi kritikas yra pririštas prie savo objekto. Dailės kritika, kaip ir bet kokia kita, taip pat neegzistuoja autonomiškai, kad ir ką kalbėtume apie kritiką kaip rašymo žanrą ir jam būdingus ypatumus ar keliamus reikalavimus. Teksto ypatumai ir keliamų reikalavimų atitikimas yra vienas iš kritikos kokybės klausimų. Tačiau tai nekeičia santykio su objektu, nes, išnykus objektui, kritika taptų eseistika. Todėl galima būtų sakyti, kad objektas sąlygoja kritiką, nes ji nuo jo priklausoma. Bet ar tai reiškia, kad koks menas, tokia ir jo kritika [p. 45].

ENFor a long time fine arts were linked to the visual ones, however, in contemporary culture the original functioning o f the image is changing: the image moves from the artistic domain to the general cultural context and functions in the sphere of mass consumption. In fine arts, the importance of the visual is diminishing. It is being dominated by the conceptual origin - research, analysis, observation, recording, reflection and the presentation of conclusions or results, and sometimes - demonstration o f the process. So the object of the art criticism in terms of historical context has been completely transformed. This determines the changes in art criticism: it is visibly getting. More problematic, acquiring interdisciplinary aspects and not getting locked in a narrow formalist analysis. These transformations have influenced the expansion o f the concept of art: today it is very difficult to define, what is a work o f art, what should be its specific characteristics that establishes them. Art criticism finds itself in a complicated situation, for the evaluation criteria cannot be clear, if the object of analysis or criticism itself is not clear.
