El mundo de Vicente Blasco Ibáñez en lituano

ENDue to a diversity of historical circumstances, Spanish literature found its way to the Baltic countries very gradually. The works of the novelist Vicente Blasco Ibáñez were widely translated in Russia and the three Baltic republics. This study analyses to what extent the cultural aspects of the novel "Blood and Sand", that exerted such attraction for the distant Baltic lands and Russia, have been rendered in two Lithuanian translations.
