Summary / Abstract:

ENBorn globals have been attracting interest from researchers and business for 25 years. These small companies are innovative, flexible and well-managed so they can also compete with the largest corporations. Is this a phenomenon of modern economies, or is it more a result of globalization? The answer to this question is also the purpose of the article, which the author, on the basis of literature studies and examples from economic life, seeks answers to. Born global is undoubtedly a phenomenon that in the global market sets its own rules of the game, does not give way to common paths, often denies the formulated theories, and yet such companies function and succeed. They owe their expansive attitude mainly to the determinants of the global market. Access to knowledge, new technical solutions, financial resources and, above all, geographically dispersed market niches determines their internationalization, and with support they can play an important role in the global economy.
