LTStraipsnyje siekiama atskleisti Nuosavo autotransporto departamento veiklos organizavimo gerinimo galimybes vairuotojų kaitos požiūriu. Tyrimo uždaviniai: įvertinti Nuosavo autotransporto departamento veiklos organizavimo situaciją, atsižvelgiant į vairuotojų kaitą, ir išryškinti šio departamento veiklos organizavimo gerinimo galimybes. Taikyti pagrindiniai tyrimo metodai: mokslinės literatūros analizė, statistinė analizė, papildantis tyrimą interviu (ekspertų metodas), interpretacija, sintezė. Minėto departamento veiklos organizavimo gerinimo galimybė grindžiama konstruktyvizmo, kuris nurodo derinti skirtingus požiūrius – idėjų konstruktus, metodologine nuostata.

ENRoad haulage department provides cargo transportation by road transport in Eastern, Western, Central Europe and CIS countries. The transport managers that are working at the department are organizing cargo transportation processes in line of drivers’ change, which ranges from 2% to 20% annually. The object of the research is the activity of Road haulage department. Research aim is to project development possibilities for Road haulage department activity in terms of driver change improvement. The research objectives: to analyze the connection of goods transportation by road transport and modern organization theories; to assess organisation of Road haulage department activity in terms of driver change; to model the possibilities for improving the organization Road haulage department. The research methods: analysis of scientific literature, statistical analysis, interview (expert method), interpretation and synthesis. After the evaluation of the results, department’s problematic areas were identified: the change and shortage of drivers-forwarders, improper behavior of drivers-forwarders in cargo transportation processes, low quality of work and misleading information. In order to improve the department’s activities in problem areas there is activity organizing improvement model, which proposes the use of new employee recruitment methods, ordinary staff surveys, more strict employee monitoring and the use of complex motivation methods. The application of the model can help to reduce the change of drivers-forwarders in the department and increase the quality of provided services.
