LTŠiame straipsnyje nagrinėjamas asmens sveikatos priežiūros įstaigų, teikiančių ortopedijos traumatologijos ir/arba chirurgijos paslaugas, išsidėstymas Lietuvos Respublikos teritorijoje, tam, kad skubi kvalifikuota medicininė pagalba būtų suteikta laiku.
ENMany of Eastern European countries still have lots of issues regarding health care system. It is important to evaluate possibilities of the health care institutions which provide orthopaedic traumatology and/or surgery services, and improve, implement qualified medical care in their infrastructure. Also renewal needs are massive because of growing trauma patients’ numbers. Although Lithuanian hospital network is developed, but it is not differentiated, not optimized and lacks personnel. When evaluating different levels of the trauma centre and their service, size, capital and human labour resources, we can conclude that the best performing centre are those of the third and second level. The investments in these levels centre are the most effective and efficient. Regarding this information investments and should be done and infrastructure should be reviewed.
