ENThe Late Roman Period pendants from Baitai cemetery (West Lithuania) are markers of sharing the same ideas and symbols between the West Balts and their Germanic neighbours. A bronze pendant with cubic-shaped body unfortunately is a loose find which could be tentatively related to Grave 41 from the end of the Late Roman Period. M. Schmiedehelm depicting pendants found at Weklice Cemetery not only provides a similar item to compare with the cube-shaped bronze pendant from Baitai cemetery, but also invites us to see other stylistic relations that were imprinted in forms of pendants found in the Germanic and Balt areas. Most probably it means an adoption not only of the function and aesthetic values of item but also the ‘meaning’ of artefacts, if such exists.
