О курсах обмена русской копейки на рынках Беларуси во второй половине ХVII века
ENThis paper presents quotes or exchange rates of russian kopeck on the markets of Belarus in the second half of the 17th century. The study was based on both published and archival materials. As a whole, they allow to follow change market’s quotes of this russian coin in the Belarusian lands in the studied time. In the middle of the 17th century the exchange rate of the silver kopeck was about 1.8 polish grosz. During the Russian-Polish War of 1654–1667 there were several of its quotes in Belarus. Rate of exchange of kopeck quoted occasionally in the lithuaniangroszes and more frequently in the polish groszes. It noted its value in the 1.5 and 1.6 lithuanian grosz, and 1.5 and polish 2 grosz. Reliable information are not revealed about the quotation of copper kopeck, and the question of it quote is still open. There are two parallel full-fledged system of monetary accounts in the markets of the RechPospolitayafrom the 1660s – old, based on silver, and the new, based on copper. Rate of exchange of kopeck has remained stable in silver – 1.5 billon polish grosz. Its rate changed frequently in copper coins.
