Ką žmonės darydavo su šventinto vandens likučiais
LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama, ką Lietuvoje XX a. tikintieji darydavo su šventinto vandens likučiais. Remiamasi lauko tyrimų medžiaga, autorės surinkta 1991–1997 m. Dauguma duomenis pateikusių asmenų gimę XX a. pirmąjį-trečiąjį dešimtmetį ir yra Romos katalikai. Duomenis taip pat pateikė keturi katalikų dvasininkai, gimę 1910–1936 m. Nustatyta, kad likusio švęsto vandens panaudojimo bei požiūrių į tai skirtumus lėmė kaimo bendruomenės, šeimos tradicija, individualus suvokimas, asmens amžius, teritorija, kunigo patarimai. Vieni asmenys manė, kad švęsto vandens likučiai sakraliosios galios nepraradę, kitiems atrodė, kad tokio vandens saugojimo (ir naudojimo) terminas pasibaigia, laikė jį „pasenusiu“. Nagrinėjant žmonių elgesį su likusiu švęstu vandeniu nedidelėje Pietryčių Lietuvos teritorijoje, galime pastebėti papročių pokyčius. [Iš leidinio]Reikšminiai žodžiai: Šventas vanduo; Water; Blessed.
ENThe article discusses what believers used to do with the remains of holy water in Lithuania in the 20th century. It is relied on the field research material collected by the author in 1991 – 1997. Most people that provided information were born in the 1st – 3rd decade of the 20th century and were Roman Catholics. Information was also provided by four Catholic priests born in 1910 – 1936. It was found out that differences in using the remains of holy water and attitudes to that were brought about by rural communities, family traditions, individual perception, age of a person, territory, priest’s advice. Some people thought that the remains of holy water had not lost their sacral power, others believed that the term of keeping (and using) of such water expired, that it became “old”. Analysing behaviour of people with the remains of holy water in a small territory of the South East Lithuania, we can notice changes in customs. [From the publication]
