ENIn this article the role of resolutions of the local dietinies ("little diets" of nobles = sojmiks) in the system of normative regulation of financing of members of Parliament of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania on diets of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the second half of the 16th-early 17th centuries is considered. The author states a hypothesis, that legislators, while defining the various minimal sizes of payments to deputies from different provincial districts (pavety) in Statute of 1588, took into consideration the previous practice of defining of quantity of payments to deputies at dietinies or special congresses, which were convoked before the diets specially for decisionmaking on the size and means of tax collection for members of Parliament support.
