ENThe article maintains necessity to be aware of practical and functional significance of business ethics and it's influence upon the development of local regions. The author draws attention to necessity of building moral competence (ethics institutionalizing) in business structures of all levels. The article indicates difficulties in perception of this process in Lithuania. Business ethics becomes essential condition for progress of a society and it's separate segments. The article scritinize some definite aspects of ethical business practice, which is of great importace for the outlooks of regional development.
