Tyrimu siekta apibendrinti darbo rinkos poreikių suformuotus talentų valdymo iššūkius IT sektoriaus įmonėse Lietuvoje. Darbo rinkos analizė atskleidė, jog IT sektoriaus skelbimai yra vieni iš paklausiausių, o Lietuvos kompanijos, suvokdamos naujų ir esamų talentų svarbą, plačiai naudoja IT talentų valdymo koncepciją savo veikloje.
ENVarious factors in the labour market determine different challenges for the companies of the IT sector in Lithuania. Talent management involves individual and organisational development in response to a changing and complex operating environment. Talent management has been attracting increasing attention from businesses and academics recently. The current discussions about skill shortages and the ageing population are also helping organisations to focus on the talent management issue. It may not be possible to simply go out and recruit new people to meet operational needs. Many leading companies have decided to develop their own people, rather than trying to hire fully skilled workers. The article summarizes the best practices for effective talent management of IT sector companies in Lithuania. Although the gaps in defining the concept of talent still exist both, in business and academics, companies of IT sector understand and widely use talent management when recruiting, training and retaining the best employees.
