LTKultūrinių renginių vadybai svarbus edukacinis aspektas, skatinantis kultūros ir meno tobulėjimą, pripažinimą šalyje bei užsienyje. Straipsnyje pateikiami kultūros, meno vadybos teoriniai akcentai, išanalizuoti ir palyginti kultūrinių renginių vadybos ypatumai Lietuvos, Nyderlandų ir Belgijos šalių atvejais. Empirinis tyrimas apėmė edukacinius aspektus apklausiant kultūrinių renginių vartotojus, ekspertus, kultūros vadybininkus. Rezultatai parodė, kad sėkminga kultūrinių renginių vadyba turi vadovautis marketingo principais atsižvelgiant į šalies kultūrinius ypatumus.

ENCultural events management is a very complicated phenomenon, which is influenced by historical, economic, social and cultural conditions. It has to play an educational and social mission to the society, which is not always compatible with commerce. In a broad sense, culture is not only an artistic and creative activity, but also science, education, language and sports. It includes morality, customs, beliefs and knowledge. In this survey culture is described as professional creative and artistic work. Art is a part of culture, which is influenced greatly by the policy of the culture, ethnic traditions and economic development of the country. As processes of globalization are getting very fast the cultural events supply grows together with the competitiveness. The market of art services has to adapt flexibly to new market conditions. The aim of article is to analyze and compare aspects of cultural and ethnic event management based on the cases of Lithuania and other foreign countries (the Netherlands, Belgium) and to justify the importance and education mission of international event management. Scientists analyse different aspects of art, artistic activity, management of art, but still lack some common view on how to apply management to cultural events. Other problematical question is declining interest of society in ethnical cultural events also in professional classical concerts. The process of internationalization is a very important factor influencing cultural events management. It fosters improvement of culture and art as well as recognition in the country and abroad. The article presents theoretical aspects of cultural and art management and gives analysis and comparison of aspects of cultural events management in Lithuania, the Netherlands and Belgium. The empirical study included aspects of qualitative and quantitative analysis questioning consumers, experts and managers of cultural events.The results showed that the successful cultural events management has to follow the principles of marketing according to the cultural peculiarities of the country. There are benefits to the development of the international spread of cultural events. The study shows that the Lithuanian and foreign cultural events, visitor behaviour are similar, differing only in some details. It depends on the prevailing habits and traditions.
