Ieškant M.K. Čiurlionio įtakos dabartinei lietuvių muzikos kritikai

ENI would like to analyze music critique of our days from the scientific point of view following Čiurlionis’s example. As Čiurlionis is considered to be a classic of Lithuanian music critique, I think, it is necessary to motivate my viewpoint on the structure of articles by Čiurlionis. Ciurlionis’s notices are based on methods of formalism and sociology, what enabled him to reconsile contextual way of thinking and concrete speaking. Music critique of the last 10 years was not grounded on art theory, even on postmodernism theory. Advertising genre predominates in our reviews. We can see emotional description in critique articles for the most part. It lacks formal critique, what enables to fulfil talcs of fundamental critique, i.e. to do the political work or art (according K.Stoškus).
