Antano Venckaus indėlis į čiurlionianą

ENThe aim behind this is to draw attention to the body of research work contrived by Antanas Venckus who was among the first in the soviet years to devote his main scientific energies to reserarch into Čiurlionis’ music. The discussion begins with the brief account on the unfavourable conditions, which hampered the more substantial accomplishment of such in terests. The special emphasis is put on a novelty of his methodology, abundance and accuracy of preliminary studies that disregarded any version of Čiurlionis’ pieces. Čiurlionis was Venckus’ focal theme during the entire span of his musicological career.
