ENWhile discussing various texts, language and didactic specialists meet with the and therefore their estimation basis varies as well. In addition, the text is not only the problem related to the interpretation of a text character (kind, genre, type). Texts are being classified in accordance with various criteria, objectives, tasks object of linguitics research. In linguistics texts have been allotted into narration, description and reasoning for a long time. A great number of linguists and didactics specialists discussed the variety of narrated texts. However, even though the classification is important both in theoretic and practical way, the integral and harmonious classification has not been found yet. The classification of texts should reveal the differences of texts, should assist in more thorough apprehension of the variety of all texts, should allow to form groups as well as to summarise their signs and features. Referring to different basis, the classification of narrative texts is provided in the Table by the article author. The allocation basis and kinds of narrative texts are discussed briefly further in the article. Other criteria of allocation of texts suggested by other text specialists are discussed at the end of the article.
