ENThe article "Strategic state management in economic security situation" analyses the system oj state goals through the prism of national economic security. The goal of ensuring economic security of a state is accommodated within the system of state goals, which consists of three levels: mega, macro and micro. It is stated in the article that the stale faces several goals: at the mega level - to protect the nation and create conditions for its self-expression: at the macro level — to ensure national competitiveness which vertically permeates through this three-level hierarchy: and at the micro level - to build an effectively functioning institutional network. It is obvious that the goal of ensuring economic security of the state also crosscuts vertically this hierarchy of the goals. Just like the aim of ensuring national competitiveness, this goal cements the whole hierarchy and also provides certain guidance for the overall system of goals.
