The Contrastive analysis of the analytical structure of the verb phrase

LTStraipsnyje tiriama veiksmažodžio frazės analitinė struktūra, t.y. suvestinis tarinys anglų ir lietuvių mokslo kalboje. Veiksmažodžio frazIs sandaroje pagrindinis veiksmažodis prisijungia papildymą, reiškiamą bendratimi ar gerundijumi / dalyviu, taip sudarydamas sudėtingos struktūros gramatinį predikatą. Anglų kalbai būdinga veiksmažodžio frazės analitinė struktūra, sudaroma iš atskirų žodžių ir morfemų bei kitų rodiklių (afiksų), kurie žymi gramatinę reikšmę. Verčiant iš anglų kalbos, veiksmažodžio frazės ribos ir morfosintaksinė raiška ne visada atitinka tą pačią raišką lietuvių kalboje. Be to, veiksmažodžio frazės bei jų formų analitiškumas morfologiniu ir sintaksiniu požiūriu šiose kalbose suprantamas ir aiškinamas skirtingai. Šiame darbe nagrinėjami specifiniai veiksmažodžio frazės (suvestinio tarinio) raiškos atvejai, kurie susieti su savita vienos ir kitos kalbos sistemine asmenuojamųjų veiksmažodžių formų raiškos ir sandaros specifika.

ENThe present article provides the contrastive analysis of the analytical structure of the verb phrase as the compound verbal predicate which is analysed according to its role in the clause in the language of science in English and Lithuanian. Several semantic groups of the verbs that form this kind of the verb phrase can join the verbal complement expressed by the infinitive. Furthermore, translating into Lithuanian, the morphosyntactic expression and the boundaries of the specific verb phrase do not always correspond to the same analytical structure of the verb phrase in English. Also, the analytical structure of the verb phrase viewing the analyticity of the verb forms is understood and approached differently in the contrasting languages. The investigation is based on the approach from function to structure and meaning to reveal the contrastive differences of the expressed content in reference to the analytical structure of the verb phrase.
