ENThe paper discus ses the composition and structure of senatorial families of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1566–1605. The personal representative of Lithuanians in the Senate of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, as well as the matrimonial strategies of senators and their families are analyzed. The author concludes that the composition of senatorial families of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania had homogeneous nature and they were relative isolated from the middle and wealthy nobility.
