Кіеў і Кіеўская зямля ў творах чатырох замежных аўтараў ХV ст

ENThe article presents the consideration of information about Kiev and Kiev land as part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the works of foreign authors of the 15th century. Four authors represent three geographical and cultural directions: “eastern” – Persian chronists Nizam ad-Din Shami and Sharaf ad-Din Yazdi, “southern” – Byzantine historian Laonikos Chalkokondyles, “western” – Venetian diplomat Ambrogio Contarini. The value of this information is all the greater, given the relatively small number of written sources on the history of the Kiev land in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania from the 14th to the 15th centuries. It also compares basic information about Kiev and Kiev land in the works of foreign authors of the 15th and 16th centuries.
