ENPaper deals with application of voice servers for Lithuanian language. Voice servers (Microsoft Speech Server or IBM WebSphere Voice Server) integrate together telephony, speech and internet. Using of English transcriptions of Lithuanian words so far is the only solution of voice servers application for Lithuanian language. The results of investigation of Lithuanian words recognition by Microsoft and IBM speech recognition engines are presented. Very good accuracy of some Lithuanian words recognition could be achieved if English transcriptions of these words are properly chosen.
