ENOur approach to building a thesaurus of the Dependability and Security domain is minimally supervised by humans and is based on information retrieval from a specific domain corpus. The individual steps of the research such as proper name recognition, extraction of term candidates, variant and non-basic term form detection were fully automated. We show a method to extract term candidates from existing texts using tools for linguistic processing and heuristics for identifying possible terms.
