ENThis paper presents the changes of emerging Central and Eastern European countries business conditions and competitiveness, by focusing on business sophistication and innovations, after economic crisis. Comparative analysis of CEE countries, emphasizing the case of Lithuania as an emerging country, is done. The opportunities of business development in emerging CEE markets are provided. The research may help to enrich the comprehension of emerging market growth phenomena.
