Veiksniai, lemiantys diplomuotų specialistų kartotinių aukštojo mokslo studijų pasirinkimą: Kauno kolegijos atvejo analizė
LTStraipsnis analizuoja veiksnius, kurie skatina darbo rinkoje aktyvius diplomuotus specialistus pasirinkti dar vienas aukštojo mokslo studijas. Tyrimo metodologinį pagrindą sudaro postmodernizmo, pragmatizmo ir konstruktyvizmo filosofinės teorijos bei tai, kaip jos aiškina šiandienį ugdymo(si) procesą. Šių teorijų dėmesio centre yra individas, jo individualumas, kitoniškumo įvairovė ir individualus tobulėjimo kelias. Empirinėje dalyje yra aprašomas kiekybinis tyrimas, kuriuo buvo siekiama identifikuoti veiksnius, lemiančius diplomuotų specialistų kartotinių aukštojo mokslo studijų pasirinkimą. Taikyti metodai - mokslinės literatūros analizė, kiekybinė apklausa raštu ir faktorinė analizė. Tyrimas atliktas Kauno kolegijoje, tyrimo imtį sudarė 105 dalyviai. Kiekybinio tyrimo rezultatai, apdoroti faktorinės analizės būdu, leido prieiti prie tokių išvadų: (1) veiksniai, lemiantys diplomuoto specialisto pasirinkimą dar kartą studijuoti aukštojoje mokykloje, yra dviejų rūšių: išorės ar aplinkų veiksniai ir vidiniai individo veiksniai; (2) kiekviena veiksnių grupė susidėjo iš trijų tipų veiksnių: (a) lemiančių profesinės karjeros pasirinkimą, (b) socialinio psichologinio konteksto ir (c) lemiančių aukštojo mokslo institucijos pasirinkimą. Pagrindinių išorės veiksnių grupę sudarė aukštojo mokslo diplomo vertė darbo rinkoje, profesinės kompetencijos, geresnės įsidarbinimo sąlygos, aplinkinių teigiamas sprendimo įvertinimas, į studentą orientuotos studijos, gera psichologinė emocinė aplinka, palanki studijoms infrastruktūra. Vidinių veiksnių grupę sudarė poreikis įgyvendinti naują pašaukimą, poreikis tobulėti, apmąstytas ir atsakingas spendimas, brandus požiūris į studijas, teigiamas institucijos įvaizdis. ENreturn to formal higher education studies again. For some of them it is a chance to improve the professional competences already acquired, for others is a chance to find a new call in life or even to compile two professional walks of life. So, the problem question of the research was what factors influence diploma certified specialists to choose formal studies at schools of higher education as a way to gain wider and stronger professional potential. The aim of the research was to identify the factors that influence the specialist with university or college academic background to turn to the school of higher education for formal studies. To achieve the aim the following objectives were set: (1) to build the theoretical rationale of the factors, reasons and environments that cause the conceptional change of specialist training as a final process; (2) to identify the factors that influence the decision of diploma certified specialists to come to Kauno kolegija in search for a way of individual professional improvement formally. The subject of the research was the factors influencing the decision to change oneself from professional point of view. The methods applied in the research were (1) the analysis of scientific sources, (2) quantitative research methods: the questionnaire, descriptive statistical and factor analyses. The methodological bases for the for the research were built on the developmental assumptions of the philosophical theories of postmodernism, pragmatism and constructivism as they focus on individuals, their individualities, their varieties and diversities and their individual ways of development in all life roles and environments.The results of the research allowed to draw the following conclusions about the factors that influence the decision of higher education diploma certified specialists to return to formal studies: (1) the factors could be of two types: external and internal factors, (2) each type group of factors reveal three aspects of stimulation: (a) factors influencing a certain way of constructing one’s professional life, (b) factors caused by socio-psychological environment and (c) factors influencing the choice of Kauno kolegija as a definite school. The factor analysis showed that the highest-ranking score fell on such external factors as: (a) high value of a higher education diploma, competences and employment in the labour market, (b) the appreciation got from their friends, families or colleagues, (c) institutional environment with student-centred studies, student support system, favourable psychological emotional atmosphere and study environments. Moreover, the analysis identified the internal factors such as: (a) the necessity to fulfil one’s new call, acquire a new professional walk, striving for personal growth, development of one’s competences, (b) the decision to return to professional studies was thoroughly thought over and the mature attitude to studying in general, (c) trust in collegial studies, positive institutional image and the study process based on a well-balanced theory and practice platform.
