ENThe report deals with performer’s scenic artistry. Artistry cannot be taught, this subject does not exist in the curriculum of any school. The experience of artistry is acquired during long years of learning (to sing, play, conduct), by performing art pieces on the stage. Various glimpses of experienced masters’ bearing on the stage are “eyed” while attending their performances. Scant attention is paid to this subject in literature. Notwithstanding, a long pedagogical practice has stimulated the analysis of performer’s artistry. The performance on the stage involves theatricality, too. The paper analyzes performer’s faculties of communication with the audience and the capacity of representing oneself. For this reason, various measures may be applied - from the proper artistic bearing to the suitable concert robe. [From the publication]
