Vilniaus pranciškonų bažnyčios XVIII a. dekoras

LTVilniaus Pranciškonų bažnyčia - viena seniausių Lietuvoje, daugelį kartų perstatinėta, o dabar vėl ruošiama restauruoti. Ši iškili LDK istorijos ir kultūros liudytoja nėra pakankamai ištyrinėta. Tebevyksta jos archeologiniai, architektūriniai, polichromijos tyrimai, kartu išryškėja ir teorinių - dailėtyros bei istorinių - apibendrinimų spragos. Su bažnyčios ir vienuolyno XIV - XIX a. architektūra siejasi tiek daug problemų, tiek yra likę neaiškumų ir „baltų dėmių“, jog kol kas tegalime aptarti pavienius, lengviau nuo viso komplekso atsiejamus klausimus. Siame straipsnyje kalbama apie XVIII a. dekorą, atsiradusį dviejų rekonstrukcijų metu: tarp 1737 ir 1748 m. gaisrų ir amžiaus antrojoje pusėje. Apie šią bažnyčią rašyta nemažai, tačiau jos barokinis periodas analizuotas menkiau, o specialiai dekoras niekieno netyrinėtas. Verta pasidomėti, kuri jo dalis priklauso pirmajam, o kuri - vėlesniems etapams. Tai padėtų bent iš dalies atkurti bendrą bažnyčios vaizdą po paskutinės rekonstrukcijos. Tokiam vaizdui susidaryti išliko nepakankamai duomenų, todėl teks pasitelkti kitų to laiko LDK objektų analogijas, ir išvados, aišku, bus diskusinio pobūdžio.

ENThe Franciscan Church, Assumption Church in Vilnius, is one of the oldest of the 14th - 19th cc. monuments of art and architecture. Its Gothic architecture has been investigated comparatively many a time, however the later rebuilding’s raised many questions up to that time. The article deals with the 18th c. Baroque decor of the church: decorations have been formed during the period of the reconstructions between 1337 -1748 fires and in the second part of the 18th c. In the article the title of church is specified. Using the data of investigation by historians, analyzing the remained elements in styles of architecture decor and other interiors, also ornament church analogies of the entire Grand Duchy of Lithuania, author aimed to ascertain the decor prototypes of Franciscan Church in Vilnius and to characterize the whole complex of the 18th c. ensemble. The author focused on western facade’s interior (except chapels) and also on existed altars’ and pulpit complex features in structure and style. The questions and problems arise to investigate further the history of architecture and crafts of Vilnius and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
