ENThe article is focused on the clarification of the prospects of Lithuanian tourism clusters‘ development. For this porpose the analysis of the clustering at tourism sector is provided in the in the context of networking and value exports, are presented guidelines for the development of tourism clusters for the European regional economic development policy to disclose operating Lithuanian tourism cluster performance characteristics and determined their development assumptions. Clustering for a long time was not focused on deeper researches, but the search of the new forms of competition, depicts the idea that economic communion phenomenon and diversification of partnership allows to create the new preconditions for the emergent economies and to create the new interactions for business and non-business organizations, and can be used to expand business knowledge and experience, accelerate innovation, develop new products and provide promotion in the tourism sector. The World Tourism Organization near the United Nations announces that the clustering of the tourism sector is one of the possibility for the economic development of the emergent European regions, in order to increase the attractiveness of the regions and find rational solutions – modernize public infrastructure, promote cross-sectoral cooperation, implement international projects and provide business cooperation and export value. With the help of tourism resources and facilities as well as initiatives to a whole new clusters‘activity is the cause of value creation, increasing the economic viability of the business organizations, there is a scope for the dissemination of tourism products and rationalization of marketing. The development of tourism clusters is a constant opportunity to help business organizations to thrive in certain areas of tourism, recreation or recreation.The number of small enterprises (production and services) operating in Lithuanian tourism regions is important for ensuring the aspirations of clustering. Several aspects are important for the operation and development of clusters: the requirements for their activities (proximity, linkages, number of interaction and the critical mass of members), overall economic activity (business cooperation) and competitive power. It is important that tourism products are needed, easy to find, of high quality, different or unique. In order to ensure a positive tourism sector performance, the assessment of tourism clusters‘ development conditions invoked the observation of legal-normative documents of Lithuania and European Union, the European Commission program reports and scientific studies, make review with deeper interpretation of clustering results and evaluations carried out from scientific and methodological literature and Lithuanian tourism cluster development issues, an overview of the use of EU measures for the period 2014-2020 to assess the impact of funding and encourage the members of the Lithuanian tourism cluster to carry out competitive activities, export value and co-operation.
