LTValstybiniame istorijos muziejuje saugomi Vilniaus fotografijų albumai, kuriuos XIX a. 7-ame dešimtmetyje parengė Albertas Swieykowskis ir Vilhelmas Zacharčikas, taip pat 12 Mirono But- kowskio XIX a. paskutinio dešimtmečio Vilniaus vaizdų serijos „Collection Vilna“ atspaudų. Beveik visos šios nuotraukos pateko į Valstybinį istorijos muziejų kaip įvairios ir didelės Aleksejaus Bach- rušino kolekcijos dalis, kurioje išsiskiria miestų, vienuolynų ir istorinių vietovių vaizdai. Mecenatas, bibliofilas, rusų kultūros antikvarinių vertybių kolekcininkas Bachrušinas (1853-1904) priklausė senai patriarchalinei maskviečių šeimai, kuri buvo firmos „Odos ir audinių manufaktūros bendrovė A. Bachrušinas ir sūnus“ bendrasavininkė. Renkant eksponatus pasireiškė Bachrušinų meninis skonis, nuoseklumas bei sistemingumas. Kolekcionavimą Bachrušinas suvokė kaip visuomenei reikalingą darbą, todėl savo kolekciją paliko Istorijos muziejui. Swieykowskio bei Zacharčiko albumai pateikti pilni (juos sudaro 32 ir 47 fotografijos). Jie sugebėjo išreikšti miesto architektūros bei panoramų žavesį. Jų darbai išsiskiria užbaigtumu bei vientisumu. Butkowskis fotografavo Vilniaus šventoves stambiu planu. 12 skirtingu metu sukurtų cabinet portret formato atspaudų priklauso ciklui „Collection Vilna“.

ENThe State History Museum holds albums of Vilnius photographs compiled in the 1860s by Albert Swieykowski and Wilhelm Zakharchyk, along with Miron Butkowski’s 12 prints from the series of images of Vilnius Collection Vilna dating back to the 1890s. Nearly all of these photographs found their way to the State History Museum as parts of the varied and large collection of Aleksy Bakhrushin, in which images if cities, monasteries and historical locations stand out. Bakhrushin (1853-1904), an art supporter, bibliophile and collector of Russian cultural antiquities, belonged to an old patriarchal Muscovite family, a co-owner of the firm “Leather and Textiles Manufacturing Company A. Bakhrushin and Son”. The taste, consistency and systematic approach of the Bakhruchins were reflected in the selection of exhibits. Bakhrushin perceived collecting as an activity beneficial for the society, which is why he gave his collection to the Museum. The albums by Swieykowski and Zakharchyk are presented in full (consisting of 32 and 47 photographs, respectively). They succeeded in reflecting the charm of the city’s architecture and panoramic views. Their work is distinguished for its completeness and comprehensiveness. Butkowski made large plane photographs of Vilnius places of worship. 12 prints in the format of cabinet portret made at different times are included in the cycle Collection Vilna.
