ENThe article concerns the problem of the meaning of reality. The point of departure is the experience of absurdity as described in Camus’ "‘Myth of Sysiph”. Usually we try to overcome that absurdity by producing or re-producing a text. One can say that the text is a genuine ‘place" of meaning. Yet the meaning revealed in a text is an abstract meaning. Asking for the concrete meaning of reality we must pay attention to the situation of dialog as described by Martin Buber. Keywords: meaning, text, dialog, Buber.
