ENThe purpose of this research is to study changes in restrictive rules of the statewide privileges and the Statutes and then demonstrate their action in regard to the Moscow emigrants. The focus is on the land ownership and occupation of positions. The author’s conclusion is that until the mid 16th century the legal standards forbidden to give estates and positions to strangers were not applied in regard to the Moscow natives.
