Вайна за спадчыну ў сям’і Гарнастаяў

ENThe article is devoted to the conflict in the family of Harnastais. After Ivan Ivanavič Harnastai’s death his wife Uliana Bahavicinaŭna occupied estates Aziarnica and Bliznae. At first she gave them her husband and her niece Kaciaryna Ciančynskaia and her husband Juri Jerjevič Slicki Alelkavič. Brothers Harnastais – Hauryla and Astafej – tried to return Ivan’s inheritance by law. But Uliana denied to give back the estates. As the result brothers came to a determination to initiate the campaign with help of the nobility of Slonim district. Aziarnica castle repulsed the attack on 3 March, 1570. The second campaign with the nobility of Slonim, Vaŭkavysk and Navagaradak districts finished without result on 2 September, 1571. After that the case was discussed by lawyers. But it was a unique situation: using troops for decision family problems.
