Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje apžvelgiama buvusių Pacų rūmų Vilniuje, Didžiojoje g. 7, interjero sienų apdailos raida nuo XVI a. iki XX a. vidurio. Akstinų šiai analizei suteikė 2014-2017 m. pastate vykdyti taikomieji polichromijos tyrimai ir restauravimo darbai (projekto vadovė Audronė Kaušinienė). Lyginant specialistų padarytas sienų tapybos atodangas su archyvinių dokumentų įrašais, buvo išaiškinta , naujų faktų tiek apie plastinę rūmų apdailos raidą, tiek apie čia dirbusius menininkus. Be anksčiau žinotų XVII a. pabaigos garsių kūrėjų pavardžių (Michelangelo Palionis, Pietro Pertis), pavyko pridėti ir naujai išaiškintų XIX a. pradžios tapytojų ir skulptorių vardus. Visi jie, kaip paaiškėjo, buvo arba jau patyrę (Giovannis Borettis, Jonas Rustemas), arba jauni (Justinas Lizanderis, Jonas Chruscickis, Juozapas Hilarijus Glovackis), bet greitai tobulėjantys talentingi kūrėjai. XVIII a. pabaigoje - XIX a. pradžioje Vilniaus tapytojų lygio kilimas neabejotinai buvo susijęs į su mieste veikusio universiteto Tapybos ir piešimo katedros profesorių - Pranciškaus Smuglevičiaus ir Jono Rustemo - pedagogine veikla. Tai parodo ir to meto Vilniaus pasaulietinių pastatų meninis apipavidalinimas. Be to, atlikto tyrimo metu pavyko išaiškinti Lietuvos istorijoje iki šiol nežinotą tapytojo Martyno Mūllerio (Marcin Müller), dirbusio ansamblyje apie 1830-1832 m., vardą. Pacų rūmų restauracija dar nebaigta. Darbai planuojama tęsis iki 2017 m. pabaigos. Tekste iškeltos hipotezės ar išreikštos abejonės gali dar gauti atsakymų ir patikslinimų, todėl tikėtina, kad šio unikalaus ansamblio tyrimas bus pratęstas. ENThe article presents an overview of the development of interior wall decor of the former Рас Palace at 7 Didžioji St. from the sixteenth to the middle of the twentieth century. This analysis was prompted by the applied research on polychrome and restoration works performed in the building from 2014 to 2017 (project leader Audronė Kaušinienė). In the process of comparing the elements of wall painting exposed by specialists with the inscriptions found in archival documents, new facts about the visual development of the palace decor and the artists who worked there were revealed. In addition to the known names of prominent creators of the late seventeenth century (Michelangelo Palloni, Pietro Perti), several new names of painters and sculptors of the early nineteenth century were revealed. As it turned out, all of them were either already experienced, such as Giovanni Boretti and Jan Rustem, or young (Justyn Lizander, Jan Chruscicki, Józef Hylarius Głowacki) but talented creators rapidly making progress. At the end of the eighteenth and the beginning of the nineteenth century, the improvement of professional skills of Vilnius painters was undoubtedly related to the educational activity of the professors of the Painting and Drawing Department of the university that operated in Vilnius, Franciszek Smuglewicz and Jan Rustem.This is also confirmed by the artistic decor of secular buildings of Vilnius of that time. Besides, during the conducted research, the name of painter Marcin Müller, so far unknown in the history of Lithuania, who worked in the ensemble from 1830 to 1832, was ascertained. The restoration of the Рас Palace is still ongoing. The works are scheduled to finish by the end of the year 2017. The hypotheses or doubts raised in the text can still be answered or specified, and thus it is possible that the research on this unique ensemble will be extended. [From the publication]
