ENThis article analyses the assumptions underlying the immigration and integration of migrants as well as the processes of migrant network formation in Lithuania. In addition to the motives for migration and the devopment of a migration network, the article presents empirical data about the internal and external social and economic relations, and the individual and collective immigration experiences, of migrants residing in Lithuania. The peculiarities of migrants’ immigration and integration are revealed through the following aspects: factors of individual and collective mobility in the country of origin and conditions for the formation of a migration network in the country of destination.
