Lietuvos Seimo narių europietiškumas (2004-2016)

LTStraipsnyje aprašoma ir analizuojama Lietuvos politinio elito požiūrių į Europos Sąjungą (ES) ir jos valdyseną raida 2004–2016 m. laikotarpiu. Pirmiausia apžvelgiami parlamentinio elito sudėties pokyčiai atstovaujamų partijų ir politinių ideologijų požiūriu. Antroje straipsnio dalyje detaliai pristatoma Lietuvos politinio elito (Seimo narių, apklaustų 2007 m., 2009 m. ir 2014 m.) europietiškumo analizė. Šioje dalyje analizuojamos elito tapatinimosi su Europa tendencijos, grėsmių ES vienybei vertinimas, pasitikėjimo ES institucijomis raiška ir Europos valdysenos samprata. Apklausų, atliktų trimis skirtingais laikotarpiais (2007 m., 2009 m. ir 2014 m.), palyginimas atskleidžia, kad Lietuvos politinis elitas buvo ir išlieka konsensualiai vieningas ir stipriai proeuropietiškas. ENThe article is framed by the empirically explored concepts of consensually united elites (Higley and Burton 1989) and Europeanness (Best, Lengyel and Verzichelli 2012). The article describes and analyzes the evolution of Lithuanian parliamentarians’ attitudes towards the European Union and its governance during the last decade (2004-2016). First, it reviews changes in the structure (parties and ideologies) of the Lithuanian political elite. The second (major) part of the article presents the analysis of Lithuanian parliamentary elite’s attitudes surveyed in 2007, 2009 and 2014. Here the trends of the elite’s emotional attachment to Europe, their perceptions of threats to EU cohesion, changes in the levels of their trust in EU institutions, their conceptions of European governance are examined. Comparison of three waves of surveys captures attitudinal shifts of the by and large pro-European consensually unified Lithuanian political elite. The increase in Europeanness of Lithuanian political elite is primarily explained by the Russia-induced geopolitical destabilization. [From the publication]
