Profesinės terminijos lotynų kalba pagrindų mokymasis: studentų požiūris
LTMokymo veiksmingumas yra dažnai aptariamas, diskutuojamas ir vertinamas. Akivaizdu, kad jis tiesiogiai susijęs su studentų mokymusi. Bet kaip įvertinti mokymo (-si) kokybę? Vienas iš indikatorių gali būti studentų požiūris, kadangi jie tiesiogiai dalyvauja šiame procese. Tyrimo idėja kilo siekiant grįžtamojo ryšio iš studentų profesinės terminijos lotynų kalba pratybose ir studijų įvado pratybose. Straipsnyje aptariami profesinės terminijos lotynų kalba mokymo ir mokymosi proceso veiksniai remiantis Lietuvos sveikatos mokslų universiteto (LSMU) Medicinos akademijos pirmo kurso studentų požiūrio pilotiniu tyrimu. Tyrimo tikslas – remiantis LSMU Medicinos akademijos pirmakursių požiūriu, gauti grįžtamąjį ryšį apie profesinės terminijos lotynų kalba mokymo ir mokymosi proceso teigiamus bei neigiamus veiksnius, kad būtų užtikrinta šio proceso kokybė. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleidė teigiamus ir tobulintinus profesinės terminijos lotynų kalba pagrindų mokymo(-si) proceso aspektus. [Iš leidinio]
ENThis paper analyzes the factors of the process of teaching/learning professional terminology in Latin based on the attitude of first-year students of the Faculty of Medicine of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU). The results of the study revealed positive aspects of the process of teaching/learning the basics of professional terminology in Latin as well as the aspects that require some improvement. The aim of the study was to receive feedback on positive and negative factors of the process of teaching/learning professional terminology in Latin based on the attitude of first-year medical students of the LSMU in order to ensure the quality of this process. The objectives of the study were the following: to analyze the concepts of the teaching/learning process and students’ attitude towards this process; to reveal medical students’ attitude towards the factors that determine the process of teaching/learning professional terminology in Latin; and to use the analysis of the students’ attitude as the basis for planning changes in the process of teaching/learning professional terminology in Latin. According to scientific literature, learning means collection, memorizing and reproduction of knowledge, its application and understanding, the ability to change one’s attitude, and the changing of personality. The concepts of students’ deep and superficial attitude towards learning have been identified. The results of the study showed that the respondents positively evaluated the factors that determined the process of teaching/learning professional terminology in Latin: previous experience, evaluation of one’s condition at the beginning and at the end of the studies, learning aids, and the attitude towards the teachers’ work, the evaluation system of Latin as a subject, and the usefulness of the course of Latin for studies of other subjects.Students’ responses to open-ended questions helped to identify the students’ recommendations for improvements in the learning process, the learning environment, learning aids, and the evaluation system.
