Šiaurinės Kuršių marių dalies žvejų vandens transporto priemonių materialusis paveldas
LTŠis straipsnis skiriamas XIX–XX a. pirmosios pusės Kuršių marių žvejų vandens transporto priemonėms, kurios suvokiamos kaip materialusis Kuršių marių žvejybos paveldas. Nors apie jas istorinės informacijos išliko nemažai, iki šiol ši tema plačiau neaptarta, nėra skelbta, kiek ir kokių žvejybinių valčių išlikę, kur ir kaip jos saugomos. ENBased on historical material, this article analyses the tangible heritage of the northern part of the Curonian Spit’s water transport heritage in the 19th c.–first part of the 20th c. This is Lithuania’s marinistic heritage. During the period under discussion, the Curonian Spit’s fishermen usually would fish in the high waters with various nets from boats and sailboats. Besides rowing boats, sailboats were often used for fishing. Most popular were the great fishing boats – bradinė, korninė and kiudelinė boats, which in the early Soviet period were called under the new term kurėnas. Only a few boats and sailboats from the once vast Curonian Spit’s fishermen “armadas” have reached our times. They are exhibited at museums along the seacoast region in unsuitable conditions, but besides being a museum piece, they have no other protection status and are rapidly disappearing due to inadequate storage conditions.
