ENThe article by the art critic and theoretician Tomas Pabedinskas reviews the new photography books by Aleksandras Ostašenkovas (b. 1951) and Vytautas Pletkus (b. 1955), with the aim of showing different ways of rendering the passage of time in photography. Methods of representing the sensation of individual time and the change in historical periods in works by these authors are analysed. The relations between these works and general tendencies in Lithuanian photography are researched, and the question of their relevance in the context of international creative photography is raised.
