Palėvenė 1940-2014 metais

ENActivities of priests and seculars who worked in Palėvenė Church in 1940- 2014 and their contribution into the development of the church and the parish have been reviewed in the paper. The specific difficulties in solving various church dealings with the Soviet institutions are shown. Much attention is paid to festivals and traditions of this parish, as well as to church choirmasters and chanters. The events related to jubilees of priests and other feasts are described. The inventory of the church, utility buildings and other houses, as well as repair works are presented. The renovation of the church and the monastery during the last decade is also dealt with.
