EN167 first, second and third year students at the Faculty of Police of the Law University of Lithuania took place in the research. The average age of the participants was 22. The aim of the research was to determine if the students’ study performance is related to their individual traits as well as to define the indicators that would help to predict the study performance of the future police officers and their suitability for the future professional activities. The work analyses the students’ study achievements, as well as the results of Eysenck personality questionnaire and Schulte test. The data showed that the studty success of the students of the Faculty of Police is related to some indicators of Eysenck questionnaire and Schulte test: The lie scale (L) evaluators of Eysenck personality questionnaire, and the total time of Schulte test taking as well as the time of one number search and its dispersion may be used for the prognosis of the future police officers’ study success. The implemented research methodology can be useful for the prognosis of the future police officers’ study performance and for their professional screening.
