Policja Państwowa i inne instytucje bezpieczeństwa na Wileńszczyźnie w latach 1918-1939

LT[...] Šioje publikacijoje terminas „Vilniaus kraštas” naudojamas II Rzeczpospolitos (1918-1944m.) Vilniaus vaivadijai bei trumpalaikės Vidurio Lietuvos valstybės teritorijai pavadinti. Pirmasis, įvadinis skyrius pristato pagrindines sąvokas, kurios bus naudojamos tolesnėse veikalo dalyse. Antrajame skyriuje pristatomas socialinis-geografinis tuometinių įvykių kontekstas, taigi apžvelgiama Vilniaus miesto ir jo krašto charakteristika. Trečiasis skyrius skirtas Lenkijos valstybingumo atkūrimui, bei Vilniaus krašto vaidmeniui jame, numatytam dviejų svarbiausių to meto politinės scenos personažų: Józefo Pilsudskio ir Romano Dmowskio. Ketvirtajame skyriuje pristatomos vidaus saugumo institucijos, veikusios šiaurės-iytų teritorijose iki Vidurio Lietuvos sukūrimo. Penktajame skyriuje analizuojamos Vidurio Lietuvos policijos institucijos bei jų ruošimo integravimui į tuo metu Lenkijos Respublikoje veikusią saugumo ir viešosios tvarkos sistemą procesai. Šeštajame skyriuje pristatomas paskutinis Vilniaus krašto policijos pajėgų integravimas į Lenkijos valstybę, bei Vilniaus vaivadijos Valstybinės Policijos funkcionavimo iki II Rzeczpospolitos pabaigos pavyzdžiai.

EN[...] In the context of the present work the term “Vilnius region” [“Wileńszczyzna”] is used to refer to the Vilnius voivodeship in the Second Republic of Poland and to the transitory territory of an entity which was known as the Central Lithuania [Litwa Środkowa]. The first chapter is devoted to the preliminary questions i.e. the definitions of the basic terms which are applied in the further parts of the discourse. The second chapter features the social and geographical background of the events that are discussed i.e. a description of the Vilnius Region and the city of Vilnius. The third chapter concerns the concept of the reconstruction of the Polish state and the place of the Vilnius region which was accorded to this state by the principal players of the political scene of that time: Józef Piłsudski and Roman Dmowski. The fourth chapter features a presentation of the organs of public security which functioned in the North-Eastern Borderlands until the establishment of Central Lithuania. The fifth chapter is devoted to an analysis of the police institutions of Central Lithuania and to the process of preparing these institutions to the integration with the system of the maintenance of security and public order which functioned in the Republic of Poland at that time. The sixth chapter presents the final stage of the process of the integration of police formations of the Vilnius region with the remaining parts of the Polish state as well as the functioning of the State Police of the Vilnius voivodeship until the final days of the Second Republic of Poland on the basis of selected examples.
